Evan and his dad Brian stayed up late one night to watch a movie together (The Rocketeer, from 1991). The next day, they recorded themselves talking about the movie podcast-style, and put it online for their friends to listen to. Linnea wanted in on the fun, and thus was the podcast born. The family brainstormed for a month trying to come up with a name all three could agree on before settling on Lunchbox Reaction.

Evan is an 8th grader who knows the lyrics to every Steven Universe song, and is working on mastering the vibraphone in the high school winter drumline.

Linnea is a Junior who throws color guard flags for fun, and is eagerly awaiting the next season of Stranger Things.

Brian remembers when schools had chalkboards, and the most exciting game you could play on a computer was Oregon Trail. He enjoys explaining all the references that Linnea and Evan miss when watching MST3K.
