The 19 episode series followed the life of 15-year-old Angela Chase as she navigated family life, friends, and school. Claire Danes, Tom Irwin, Bess Armstrong, Jared Leto, and Wilson Cruz were just a few of the ensemble cast of this standout show.

  • Hawkeye

    The Disney+ series Hawkeye follows the adventures of our favorite archer, Clint Barton, as he tries to navigate the appearance of his #1 fan, shadows of his past, and the mafia, all while trying to get home to celebrate Christmas with his family.

  • Eternals

    Marvel's Eternals tells the story of a group of ancient, near immortal guardians who travel to Earth in order to protect the planet from evil beings known as Deviants. The Eternals have lived here for thousands of years, but are tasked not to interfere with the human course of history. This week, we react to the movie, and come away with mixed feelings for a story that felt too long, and had too many new heroes for our liking.

  • Miracle / Winter Olympics

    What America needed was a miracle. What it got was a hockey game. That was the tagline to the 2004 movie Miracle, which told the story of the 1980 US Hockey team and their incredible journey to Olympic gold. This week, we talk about the movie, and also some of our thoughts about the current Winter Olympic games.

  • Trails

    Go on a hike through the National Park system in the game Trails. On your way, collect rocks, acorns, and leaves, and then use those materials to purchase badges. Each badge comes with a point value, and when the sun sets across the trail, the person with the most points wins. Trails is a fun game for 2 to 4 players ages 10 and up.

  • Hilda and the Mountain King

    Hilda and the Mountain King is an animated film that premiered on Netflix on December 30th, 2021. The story is based on the sixth book of the popular Hilda graphic novel series by author and Illustrator Luke Pearson, and provides closure to the cliffhanger end of Hilda's second season.     Wordle is the daily word game taking the internet by storm! If you heaven't heard of Wordle, it's a bit like the old game of Mastermind, but instead of guessing the color of hidden pegs, you have 6 tries to guess a 5-letter word. Also on this episode, we talk about some pop-culture news, read a letter from a listener, and try some candy from Nepal!

    The animated Disney musical Encanto tells the story of the Madrigal family, who are all blessed with a special, magical gift. All except for Mirabel, that is. But when their magical house begins to crumble and her sibling's gifts start to fade, it is up to Mirabel to find out why and save the family.

  • Nimona

    The graphic novel Nimona was published by HarperCollins in 2015. It was created by writer and artist Noelle Stevenson, and tells the story of the young shape-shifting girl Nimona and her escapades with Ballister Blackheart, the kingdom's resident villain.
